The Office of Administrative Hearings provides fair and timely hearings, similar to non-jury trials in a court of law. They determine different issues for individuals affected by the Department's actions with the following:

• Medical Assistance,
• Temporary Assistance for Needy Families,
• Child Care Services, 
• Child Protection Services: Central Registry for Child Abuse and Neglect, 
• Low Income Energy Assistance, and
• Child Support Enforcement.

The Office of Administrative Hearings provides an efficient way of ensuring those affected by our decisions have access to due process of law. The administrative law judge ensures the hearing process is accessible to all who have business before the Office of Administrative Hearings.
