Applications are now being accepted for Rural Out-of-School Time Programs, as a result of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
Funding is available to currently licensed OST programs in communities with populations of 10,000 or less. The grants are competitive and targeted toward programs serving 10 or more children in Kindergarden through age 12.
Grants range up to $15,000 to help with operational costs for the July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2010 project year.
Note: This grant category is limited to stand-alone OST programs (caring for school-age children only), holding a current State OST license.
