Automated Voice Response System

The Division of Child Support has an automated voice response system to assist individuals in obtaining up-to-date information about their child support payments. We encourage the use of this system as much as possible since individuals can receive answers to many common inquiries.

The toll-free number is 1.800.286.9145 and the voice response system operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If an individual has applied for child support services, they may obtain the following information from the automated system:

  • Date and amount of last payment
  • Date the payment will be mailed to the family or transferred by electronic funds
  • Previous month's payments and disbursements
  • Amount of past-due support owed
  • License restriction status

If an individual has not applied for child support services and their child support payments have been ordered to be made to the Child Support Payment Center, they may obtain the following information from the automated system:

  • Date and amount of last payment
  • Date the payment will be mailed to the family or transferred by electronic funds

The most current information is available after 5 p.m. CT. No records are updated after this time.

To access the voice response system, individuals need:

  • Case number
  • Personal Identification Number (PIN)
  • Contact the Division of Child Support if you are uncertain of your case number and/or PIN number at 605.773.3641.
