There are some reviews required by the federal government and some required for program improvement. If you are receiving or have received SNAP benefits, Medical Assistance, TANF, or LIEAP, it is possible you may be contacted by a Quality Compliance and Improvement Specialist.
This contact may be in the form of a letter, survey, telephone call, or a personal visit. The purpose of the contact is to make sure your eligibility/ineligibility was properly determined.
If errors are found, the problem is reported to the program being reviewed and corrective action plans are developed to prevent errors from occurring again.
