Direct Deposit of Vendor Payments

What does direct deposit mean to me?

Direct deposit means our payments are deposited directly into your checking account instead of being mailed to you.

What are the advantages of direct deposit?

  1. Eliminates postal service delays because of weather or sorting. During the winter months mail deliveries can be delayed for extended periods. With direct deposit you will know your payments from the LIEAP are in the bank.
  2. Will save time normally needed to process bank deposits.
Direct deposit can save anywhere from 8-24 hours per year in time spent depositing checks.
  3. Will save time normally needed by the LIEAP to mail payments. Business and government can save more than 40 cents in processing costs for each paper check converted to direct deposit.

How will I know the amount of the deposit?

We will continue to mail your Vendor Paid Claim Report each Friday. Funds are deposited in your account the second business day after payroll (Thursday).

How do I sign up?

You can fill out the application online, print and sign it. You will need to attach a voided check with the application and mail it to:
