Office of Administrative Hearings

The Office of Administrative Hearings provides fair and timely hearings, similar to non-jury trials in a court of law. They determine different issues for individuals affected by the Department's actions with the following:

• Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP),
• Medical Assistance,
• Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF),
• Child Care Services, 
• Child Protection Services: Central Registry for Child Abuse and Neglect, 
• Low Income Energy Assistance, and
• Child Support Enforcement.

The Office of Administrative Hearings provides an efficient way of ensuring those affected by our decisions have access to due process of law.
