PIERRE, S.D. – Staff from the Department of Social Services want to alert the community that there has been a change in location where services will be offered in Buffalo. Beginning May 13, 2008, staff will now be working at the WIC Office in the Harding County courthouse.

The day and time remain the same: the second Tuesday of every month from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. MDT.

Staff will be on site to take applications for the following programs:

• Medicaid,
• Food Stamps,
• Medicare Savings Program and
• Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).

Staff will be available to help answer questions about the following programs:

• Low Income Energy Assistance (LIEAP),
• Child Care Services and
• Sales Tax on Food Refund Program.
