Captial Area Counseling Changes Hours of Operation
PIERRE, S.D. -- Capital Area Counseling (CAC) professionals, in Pierre, are adjusting their outreach office hours. Effective Thursday, June 16, 2011, CAC professionals will be available for call-in and walk-in assistance as noted below:
Flood-related assistance is free-of-charge.
If you cannot get to one of the above sites, you can always call CAC at 224-5811 (during office hours) Or 295-2311 (any time).
CAC staff continue to walk through affected neighborhoods (and other places those affected by the flood are be gathering) daily to hand out information on staying well and to check in on individuals.
CAC is providing these services in collaboration with several community partners including the South Dakota Department of Social Services, Division of Community Behavioral Health (800-265-9684), Pierre Police Department, Professional Counseling Associates, St. Mary’s Healthcare Center, Lutheran Social Services and the Red Cross.
