The effects of these rules will be to: repeal obsolete rules, update definitions, update and clarify eligibility requirements and covered services related to the home and community-based services waiver operated by the Division of Adult Services and Aging, update references, remove obsolete and unnecessary provisions, and remove obsolete and unnecessary references. These rules are being amended to update and clarify existing rules related to the home and community-based services waiver operated by the Division of Adult Services and Aging and to provisions regarding nursing facility level of care.

The effects of these rules will be to: repeal obsolete rules, update definitions, update services that may be provided by programs to victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse, remove duplicative statutory language, clarify that a program may not impose income standards or mandate participation in a service as conditions of eligibility, outline standards for hotel or motel facilities or private homes that are used as shelter, and outline policy and bylaw requirements for shelter programs. These rules are being amended to update and clarify existing provisions relating to domestic violence and sexual assault programs.

Department of Energy State Plan FY 2012
for Home Weatherization Assistance for

The Department of Social Services will hold a public hearing on the proposed FY 2012 Department of Energy State Plan for Home Weatherization Assistance for Low Income Persons. The hearing is to obtain final comments on the proposed plan.
