Providers will receive notice from SDMA on how to access the new SD MEDX system to validate their provider information (re-enroll) or to complete a new enrollment, whichever option is appropriate based on the enrollment type. This notice will indicate the specific time period to re-enroll or enroll. For more information, please review the timeline.
This process is a phased approach based on the provider enrollment type.
If you currently utilize a Billing Agent or Clearinghouse to submit with SDMA electronically and wish to continue transmitting claims electronically the Billing Agent/Clearinghouse must enroll first with SDMA.
