Important Changes Coming Soon to Medicaid Eligibility
Due to the COVID-19 federal public health emergency, federal regulations prohibited Medicaid from closing for persons who were found ineligible. Effective April 1, 2023, federal regulations again allow for closure of ineligible cases.

- Children 18 and under may be eligible for free vaccines through the Vaccines for Children Program after a coverage transition. If your child does not have insurance, check with your Primary Care Provider or visit the Department of Health Immunization page for more information.
