Post Adoption Program Overview: 1:00 – 1:45 PM (CST) | Zoom link
DSS in partnership with Lutheran Social Services, will provide an overview of post adoption services for families who have adopted through the foster care system. Adoptive families can learn about accessing adoption support and will be provided with resources to assist in meeting the child and family’s needs in areas such as emotional and mental health support, education, training, family activities and events, networking opportunities, resource referral services, crisis support, follow-up services, and advocacy and awareness. By having access to ongoing support, adoptive families can better navigate the complexities of adoption and foster a nurturing environment for their family.
