To align continuing education requirements with the new biennial renewal cycle, no continuing education will be required until 2022. During the 2022 renewal period, licensees will be required to report 40* hours of continuing education through the online renewal system. The 40 hours of continuing education may be acquired between January 1, 2020 - November 30, 2022. Four hours must be on the subject of Ethics as it relates to counseling. An updated list of approved continuing education programs can be found below.
*The number of continuing education hours is prorated based on the initial date of your licensure. If you were licensed before May 30, 2021, you will be required to report 40 hours of continuing education during the Fall 2022 renewal period. If you were licensed after May 30, 2021, please refer to the breakdown below regarding the number of continuing education hours required to renew your license in Fall 2022:

For continuing education credits not provided by one of the sponsors listed above please submit a request for approval of continuing education training. The requests can be used by individuals or sponsors.
