Licensing

The board issues three professional licenses:

1. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
2. Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health (LPC-MH)
3. Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
   

Application for licensure is made through the Board office. Each application requires a refundable $225 fee. The license fee is not prorated. Each license valid until November 30th of the next even-numbered year following the date of issuance. Licenses are renewed biennially in even-numbered years.
